LMC in the Community

On Saturday, May 3rd, LMC Construction had the honor of serving as the presenting sponsor of the 49th Annual Lake Oswego Lake Run, a cherished community tradition that brings together runners, families, and local organizations for a day of fun, fitness, and philanthropy. Hosted by our longtime partners at Northwest Housing Alternatives (NHA), the event featured a scenic 5K, 10K, and Kids Dash around beautiful Oswego Lake, all in support of affordable housing initiatives across Oregon

As a company deeply rooted in community values, LMC was thrilled to support NHA’s mission of building new opportunities for seniors, families, veterans, and individuals with special needs. With over 1,900 homes across the state and vital services like the Annie Ross House family shelter, NHA continues to make a lasting impact—and we’re proud to stand beside them in that work.

Team “Worst Pace Scenario” Hits the Ground Running

LMC employees showed up in full force to participate in the 5K, proudly running (and walking!) under the team name “Worst Pace Scenario.” Our team spirit was high, and the camaraderie even higher, as we joined hundreds of other participants in this vibrant community celebration. While the race was underway, LMC also hosted a booth at the Lake Festival in Millennium Plaza Park, where we had the pleasure of connecting with local residents, cheering on runners, and sharing more about our work and values.

The Lake Run wasn’t just about the race—it was about community. From the scenic course to the bustling festival atmosphere, the event was a perfect reflection of Lake Oswego’s welcoming spirit and commitment to giving back.

1.5 Tons of Support: LMC’s April Food Drive for NHA

In the weeks leading up to the Lake Run, LMC employees and partners rallied together for another cause close to our hearts: food security. Throughout April, we collected over 1.5 tons of canned goods and pantry staples, all of which were donated to Northwest Housing Alternatives to support residents living in their housing communities. This effort was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together with purpose and compassion.

We’re incredibly proud of our team’s dedication—both on the racecourse and in the community—and we look forward to continuing our partnership with NHA in the years to come. Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Lake Run and helped make this event such a success!
