LMC Construction is proud to announce a transformative milestone in its 20+ year history: the company is now 100% employee-owned. This exciting transition, effective December 31, 2024, was unveiled during a company-wide meeting at LMC’s Tualatin headquarters, where over 130 employees gathered to celebrate the news. The move to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) reflects LMC’s commitment to its people, its values, and its long-term vision for sustainable success.
A legacy of Excellence and Growth
Since its founding, LMC Construction has grown into one of the Pacific Northwest’s leading general contractors, completing over 200 projects and building more than 14,000 apartment homes. With over $2 billion in construction value delivered, LMC has consistently demonstrated excellence in craftsmanship, client relationships, and community engagement.
In 2024, LMC was honored with the Lighthouse Award from the Portland Business Journal for being one of the 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies in Portland for five consecutive years, ranking 5th that year. The company has also been recognized as one of Oregon’s Best Companies to Work For, consistently placing in the top 10 in the large company category, based on employee feedback.

Under the ESOP, all eligible employees will become beneficial owners at no cost, reinforcing a collaborative and high-performance culture.
