Broadleaf Arbor is a 239-unit affordable housing development located in St. Helens, Oregon. The project spans 16 acres and includes a mix of townhomes, family apartments, and a senior-focused building, all arranged to support a walkable, community-oriented layout. Eleven buildings are organized around shared green spaces, a playground, and a central community facility. The development was designed to serve a diverse, intergenerational population, with features that promote accessibility and resident engagement.
Sustainable construction practices were integrated throughout the project, including Earth Advantage certification and the preservation of adjacent wetlands. A trail system, community gardens, and a teaching kitchen were added to enhance livability and encourage outdoor activity. The site planning and building design reflect a focus on long-term functionality, environmental stewardship, and inclusive housing.
