Columbia House

Columbia House is a senior affordable housing community located in Vancouver, Washington, recently renovated to improve accessibility, safety, and quality of life for its residents. Originally constructed in the 1970s, the renovation included upgrades to all 150 residential units, common areas, building systems, and exterior finishes. Improvements focused on energy efficiency, ADA compliance, and resident comfort, with new windows, HVAC systems, lighting, flooring, and kitchen and bathroom fixtures installed throughout the building.

The project also introduced enhanced community amenities, including updated gathering spaces, a fitness room, and improved outdoor areas. Columbia House is owned and operated by the Vancouver Housing Authority and serves low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities.
