Plambeck Gardens is Tualatin’s first affordable housing development in nearly two decades, offering 116 one- to four-bedroom homes for families and workforce residents. Almost half of the units are deeply affordable, reserved for households earning 30% or less of the area median income. The 4.66-acre site features two residential buildings and a central community building, which includes a kitchen, classrooms, a playroom, a clinic, and offices. Outdoor amenities include gardens, play areas, a sports field, and seating areas, all designed with trauma-informed and sustainable principles to foster comfort, accessibility, and community connection. Named in honor of Doug Plambeck, a founding board member of CPAH and lifelong housing advocate, the project reflects his legacy of championing equitable housing in Washington County.
