The Steward

The Steward is a 55-unit mixed-use residential development located in the Tigard Triangle, a designated urban renewal area in Tigard, Oregon. The five-story building includes residential units above a commercial ground floor, with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainable design. The project includes a secured two-level parking structure with 64 spaces, including EV charging stations, and features amenities such as a fitness room, a fifth-floor club room, and an outdoor terrace. The building’s exterior combines exposed concrete with high-density panels and large, energy-efficient European-style windows.

Designed to approach net-zero energy performance, The Steward incorporates rooftop solar panels capable of producing 90kW of power. The development supports the city’s goals for increased housing density and walkability in the Tigard Triangle, offering residents access to nearby transit, retail, and employment centers. The project reflects a modern approach to urban infill, balancing residential needs with commercial activation and environmental responsibility.
